Rótulo: During the 18th century the red wines from the douro valley in northern Portugal were greatly appreciated and widely consumed by the british public. Many famous men of the time including William Pitt, the Prime Minister, were known to drink at least one bottle a day. Churchill Estates is a blend of the Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional grape varieties. By combining modern winemaking tecniques with these native grapes grown in the vineyards that produce our great vintage ports, we are bringing you onde again a fine and richly elegant table wine from the douro valley.
